Oolong Teas are ever so slightly oxidized. This distinguishes Oolong Tea from Black Tea, which is highly oxidized, and Green Tea, which is not oxidized at any stage. Our Oolong Teas are delicately hand thrown to promote subtle oxidation while preserving the make-up of the leaf. This gives our Oolong Teas the flavory aromas they are known for.

Pu-er Teas come directly from China and are named after the region from which they have emerged. The oxidation of the leaves puts them in a category between Black Tea and Oolong Tea. Aged varieties are distingushed and preferrable. These teas have a very distinctive earthy taste.
